Aroids

AMORPHOPHALLUS - ARISAEMA - ARUM - COLOCASIA - SAUROMATUM - OTHERS

We sell a variety of tuberous aroids, which we send out during their dormant phase. Many have weird and wonderful “flowers” (or inflorescences), other species are worth growing simply for their striking exotic foliage which can add a lush, tropical feel to a temperate garden. An extraordinary group of plants which deserves to be more widely-grown.

Sauromatum

Sauromatum is a small genus of Aroids found across many parts of Asia. They vary greatly in size: some are suited to growing in gardens while others are more suited to pots, by virtue of their small size. They are easy to grow in much the same way as for most Arisaema.
