Delivery Information

Despatching plants to you

All our bulbs, plants and seeds will be sent to you in appropriate packaging to keep them protected in transit. We try to minimise and re-use packaging where possible, to reduce the carbon footprint whilst still ensuring your products arrive safe and sound.

We will despatch your purchases to you at the best time of year for them to be sent. For bulbs and tubers, this will be when they are dormant. For other plants, this will usually be when they are quiescent. The product description will give you an indication of when you can expect to receive the plants, in most cases.

This may mean that you have to wait a few months to receive your plants. However, once you have purchased them those plants are secured in your name. Due to the limited numbers of many of our rare plants, we recommend buying in advance when they are in stock. You will receive confirmation of your order and, nearer the time, a notification of when to expect the plants.

Seeds are usually sent out within a week of purchase.

Returning damaged plants

If any plants are seriously damaged on arrival, please notify us immediately by email and send a clear photo of the damage. We will then arrange either a replacement or refund.

Please note that we cannot offer to replace or refund any product more than 5 working days after it is delivered to you. Therefore, please open and inspect the package as soon as you can. In the unlikely event of any damage, please notify us immediately.

Large or over-sized orders

In the case of large orders or over-sized plants (some woody plants, for example), our usual pricing for postage and packaging may not apply. If so, we will contact you prior to despatch to make alternative arrangements. This may incur a greater cost, due to having to use another courier or special packaging. We will discuss with you and agree any extra cost before despatch.
